A dead young woman is talking in our ear. After taking part in the land collectivisations in Estremadura and Andalucía, she was one of the 4.000 people shot in the Plaza de Toros of Badajoz after August the 14th 1936, when Franco’s troops conquered the city. She’s speaking from beyond the grave, in expectation of what the living can make of their societies.
