After the theoretical revision over the discourses of domain, we find ourselves under a paradoxical situation, we are more capable of turning these problems to concepts but nonetheless we continue to reproduce them with our practices. We have achieved high theoretical aims, but custom still wins us. Our behaviours perpetuate the conditions of masculine domain in which our lives take place. In this stage the weak (new) masculine subject appears as a new actor.

Therefore it seems urgent to develop a careful identification of such behaviours and customs. Paternalism, especially if it is subtle, appears as one of the most common practices in the establishment of domain-submission relationships. Capable of softly impregnating our lives with a constant violence, paternalism instals itself in the hell of nearness, of familiarity and always seetles down a hierarchical system of reciprocal dependency where both actors are condemned to play their role.
